YOU GOT THE QUESTIONS - WE GOT THE ANSWERS
What clothing is best to play laser tag in?
We have black lights in the arena so if you want to glow like a glow worm wear bright clothes and if you want to be more stealthy wear dark clothing - T-shirt, Shorts & Sneakers are perfect.
Can we have a Birthday Party option with less than 6 people?
The minimum number of kids required for a Megazone Party is six children. If there are less than six children on the day, this is no problem, however a minimum of six children will be charged for.
Can adults of the birthday party play with the kids?
Yes, this will be charged at the single player rate.
Is there somewhere to store our items until our party room is available?
We are happy to store your items behind the counter until your party area is available, please note all items stored on site are at your own risk.
Can we bring our own cake?
Absolutely - google Laser Tag cakes, there are some awesome ones out there.
Can we bring our own food & drink?
We offer 3 different menus that you may add to your Zone party package, should you choose one of these we will provide a free party area. If you wish to bring your own food, you must hire a party area.
Can we bring alcohol to Megazone?
No, We do not have an alcohol licence, therefore no alcohol is permitted on the premises. Please note this includes our car park. Snow Planet next door do have a fully licensed bar and restaurant
Can we smoke or vape?
There is a smoking/vaping shed at the end of the carpark, there is absolutely no smoking or vaping in any other area than this designated shed.
Can we bring glitter and confetti to decorate the room?
No. We do not allow glitter or confetti at Megazone due to the process of completely removing it again. Glitter and confetti generally cannot be vacuumed up completely with our standard cleaning procedures and requires additional commercial cleaners. Should you bring any sort of glitter or confetti you will be charged a $150 commercial cleaning fee. This will need to be paid before you leave.
Do we have to pay a deposit for a birthday party?
Yes, paid at time of booking.
Can we make a tentative booking?
No, we do not make tentative bookings as history has proved that this is not best procedure and the majority of tentative bookings do a No-Show, so this is not practical for us.
Why can't we play with just our group?
We have a huge arena and can accommodate up to 48 participants in each game. We find that mixing groups makes every Laser Tag game more exciting and challenging for the players. We do endeavor to mix groups of a similar age to ensure everybody enjoys their experience at Megazone.
Are the lasers dangerous?
No, they are a class 1a Laser Product, essentially the same as using your TV remote.
If the games are 12 minutes why does it take 15 minutes?
This allows for the pack change overs and demonstrations.
Why is there a 15 minute break in between our games?
Laser Tag is a physical activity, 15 minutes gives players a chance to cool down and discuss strategies for the next game/s. The break gives another group the chance to play a game so nobody is left waiting a long period of time before playing. Most importantly - TOILET STOP!!
What is the minimum age for playing Laser Tag?
We recommend 6 years and above, however if you are happy for a younger sibling to play then you take full responsibility we do have small laser tag equipment for smaller people, however Megazone staff have the final say if the child can play or not and no refunds will be given.
Do I need to confirm how many are playing?
Yes, please make contact up to 48 hours prior to booking to confirm your numbers.
